Recently, the occult-thriller film The Cursed: Again unveiled intriguing photos.
The Cursed: Again is an expansion of lauded tvN series, The Cursed which thrilled and excited viewers when it aired in 2020.
Highly focused on the investigation of a mysterious serial murder case, the film enthuses with its plot about corpses that rose from the dead and gained the ability to talk.
Similar to the drama version The Cursed, Im Jin-Hee (Uhm Ji Won) will still be part of the cast as well as Jung Moon Sung who plays the role of her husband Sung-joon.
She played the role of the reporter who covers a case involving the biggest IT company in South Korea.
In the first season, Jin-Hee worked together with Baek Soo-Jin (Jung Ji So), a child who is possessed by a spirit that has the ability to curse.
Jin-Hee, So-Jin, and Sung-Joon worked together to catch CEO Jin of the company “Forest,” who heavily believed in shamanism.
The Cursed: Again Intense Visuals
Recently, The Cursed: Again publicized several fierce images that welcomed the viewers awaiting the film.
In the film, Jin-Hee had a live interview with a person who said that three murders happened because of a body that was risen from the dead.
In the photo, we can see the awakened corpses running and breaking the police’s defense along with Jin-Hee’s bewildered look and the curiosity that the revived corpse are much stronger, faster, and smarter than any other zombies.
Moreover, the appearance of So-Jin (Jung Ji So) coming back with a fiercer face evokes curiosity as to how she will help in solving the film’s dilemma.
Other actors are also seen in the photos, like Kim Pil-Sung (Kim In Kwon), an owner of a private detective company, and Jung Moon Sung who does his detective role doing the investigations.
Added to the line-up of actors is Byun Mi-Young (Oh Yoon Ah), a major executive company director that will add a new taste to the film.
What to Expect in the film The Cursed: Again?
What’s new to the film is the presence of a “Jakcha,” a revived corpse that also appeared in Korean traditional tales, which is now combined with shamanism.
Given the intense visuals of the cast members, The Cursed: Again would give high-rated entertainment to the audience, along with the thrill of how these corpses came back to life.
