Exciting the awaiting viewers for its premiere in February, Ahn Hyo Seop and Kim Sejeong lead the table-read of the new SBS drama.
Based on a webtoon, Business Proposal follows the story of an office employee who goes on a blind date with her company’s CEO while pretending to be her rich best friend.
Helmed by director Park Sun Ho of Wok of Love and Suspicious Partner, and penned by writer Han Seol Hee, the series will be produced by Cross Pictures, which is well known to have produced the drama Sound of the Heart.
The story was originally published as a web novel in 2017 by author Hae Hwa. Then, it was produced into a webtoon in 2018.
A Strong Cast Chemistry
Ahead of its premiere, Business Proposal unveils photos taken at the script-reading event last summer. The main cast such as Ahn Hyo Seop, Kim Sejeong, Kim Min Kyu, Seol In Ah, Lee Deok Hwa, Kim Kwang Gyu, Jung Young Joo, Kim Hyun Sook, Song Won Seok, and Choi Byung Chan attended the gathering.
In addition, director Park Seon Ho (Suspicious Partner, Wok of Love), and writers Han Seol-hee and Hong Hong Bong-hee of the Ugly Miss Young Ae series collaborated to produce a drama that is enjoyable and enjoyable to watch.
As the full-scale script reading began, the actors instantly immersed themselves in their respective roles, exuding a passion reminiscent of a real film set.
Ahn Hyo Seop takes the role of rich, smart and handsome CEO Kang Tae-mu while Kim Sejeong suits up to the role of optimistic office worker Shin Ha-ri. Their lives intertwine when they meet on a blind date where Ha-ri is just a stand-in for her friend.
Rounding up the lead cast is Kim Min Kyu who plays Tae-mu’s friend Cha Sung-hoon and Seol In Ah portrays Ha-ri’s best friend and the only daughter of a chaebol family, Jin Young-seo.
