Again My Life Episodes 11 to 14 Highlights
Chairman Kim’s Death
Determined to proceed with his grand plan of controlling the nation with his connections, Cho Tae Sub pays a visit to Chairman Kim.
Acknowledging the intention of Yong-joon, Chairman Kim’s eldest son who is wary that his father favors Hee-a, the villain moves to tell the chairman to step down.
Refusing his suggestion, Cho Tae Sub orders CP Kim to have the prosecutors’ office investigate Chunha Group. It forces Chairman Kim to reveal a recording that will implicate him.
The evil villain retaliates and decides to take the sickly chairman down for good.
Before passing away, Chairman Kim orders his man to transfer his shares to Hee-a. He wanted her to become his successor. However, Tae-sub beats him to it and set Yong-joon who has agreed to be controlled by him to lead the group.
Kim Hee-woo Cuts A Deal With Cho Tae Sub
Moving forward with his plans, Hee-woo decides to drive a wedge between Cho Tae Sub and Chief Prosecutor Kim. He goes back and forth in pretending he sides with each of them.
He presents CP Kim’s intention to expose his involvement to a bank that has been using underhanded means to support illegal financial activities.
On the other hand, Hee-woo also relays CP Kim’s problematic family that can be used against him. Gathering evidence, he seeks Prosecutor Jang to affirm CP Kim’s family obtained a property through lawless means.
Meanwhile, Hee-woo advises Sang-man to open an investment company that would help with his plans and his people when the time comes.
Assemblyman Hwang Helps Hee-woo’s Plans
Involving Assemblyman Hwang in the plan he’s brewing to cause a rift between Cho Tae Sub and CP Kim, Hee-woo executes his next blow by causing division in the aspiring leaders of the prosecution’s office.
Playing his card well, Assemblyman Hwang refuses to meddle with the ongoing contention for the highest post in the prosecution’s office.
Inevitably, CP Kim secures the Prosecutor General role and his family mess was cleaned up neatly by Cho Tae Sub. From there, his first mission aligns with the villain’s goal of getting his hand on Chunha Group by investigating Hee-a.
Assemblyman Hwang holds a press conference and exposes CP Kim Seok-hoon’s involvement in crime concealment and power abuse.
Adding to that, Kim Han-mi also proclaims her relationship with CP Kim as a love child. From there, CP Kim reached his downfall. Assemblyman Hwang also becomes the new party leader.
Meanwhile, Min-soo meets Hee-woo to give him a heads up that he has joined the side of Cho Tae Sub for his own personal vengeance dream.
Chief Prosecutor Kim Confronts A Fatal Blow
Cho Tae Sub sends a message to Hee-woo through Director Han to capture and do the questioning for CP Kim. Leading CP Kim to his expected outcome, Hee-woo relays to the press that the former chief prosecutor is guilty of the allegations.
The search for the prosecutor general becomes an unexpected situation for Team Cho, and the names of Prosecutor Jeon and Prosecutor Yoon were brought up as possible contenders for the position.
Now that Hee-woo disarmed his enemy by cutting his right man, he targets Cho’s source of income. At that same moment, Cho ordered Park Dae-ho to acquire JQ constructions and prepare his acquired shares on Chunha Group.
Paying a visit to Hee-a, Cho threatens of continuing the halted investigation across Chunha’s businesses. Unfazed, Hee-a refuses to obey his demand to appoint her brother as the CEO.
She confidently declares that Cho seems anxious about the shares she has that can make her vie for the chairmanship.
After meeting Prosecutor Yoon, Cho also meets Prosecutor Jeon to offer the chief prosecutor spot in the Central District office. He also sets conditions that he needs to do should he take the offer.
Mulling over his options, Prosecutor Jeon’s innate wisdom and goodness prevailed, thus turning down Cho’s offer, or so it seems.
Prosecutor Jeon Becomes The New Chief Prosecutor
Getting insider information about JQ Construction’s fate, Hee-a calls Hee-woo to discuss their next move.
She proposes investing in Sang-man’s company to counter the only bidder for the company after being manipulated by Cho Tae Sub. The latter has already instructed his fund manager to acquire it.
With sufficient funds to cover the cost of JQ Constructions, Sang-man moves to convince the executive to favor his proposal and not opt for the other bidder.
Cho’s fund manager Jo Dae Ho learns of the new bidder and counters the offer with a higher price. When Prosecutor Jeon refused to work on Bando bank’s illegal dealings, Hee-woo utilizes the pressure from the country’s financial supervisor to corner Jo Dae Ho.
Executing his plan well, things seem to be going his way, until the announcement of the new chief prosecutor.
Again My Life Episodes 11 to 14 Musings
The end game for Kim Hee-woo is just around the corner in Again My Life. Facing a formidable villain whose actions are flawlessly calculated, one indecisiveness might endanger his ultimate goal.
Along with that, his mission intertwines with his closest friends who are working with him to expose the wickedness of Cho Tae Sub. Now that Hee-a also puts her brave front to the man wanting to leash her and her siblings, the race gets more interesting.
However, the vagueness of Hee-woo’s situation with his former allies makes us viewers dread oh-no moments to erupt in the final week episodes.
There’s a lot to process in what goes around Prosecutor Jeon’s mind. But let’s certainly hope that a belated ambition and power craving did not surge within him.
While faintly presented, the friendship stories in Again My Life, to be honest, have equalized the humane aspects of the lead characters in the series.
One thing that I’m really scared of not being explained is Director Han’s future warning to Hee-woo. With loose ends still needing to be tied up, it’s going to be a jampacked narrative down the last episode.
Witness the final showdown in the riveting outsmarting story in Again My Life on Viu this week!
