A new romantic comedy series is underway for tvN and it tapped Jeon Do Yeon and Jung Kyung Ho as the lead cast.
Titled 일타스캔들 One Shot Scandal, the series is set to premiere in the first half of 2023.
Directed by Yoo Je Won, who previously worked in the most buzzworthy tvN drama, Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha, it will be written by renowned screenwriter Yang Hee Seung.
Moreover, this is the third meeting between Director Yoo Je Won and writer Yang Hee Seung. After the two popular dramas High School King of Savvy and Oh My Ghost.
The Characters to Anticipate
Jeon Do Yeon takes on the role of Nam Haeng-seon, a side dish store owner who used to be a national athlete. She belatedly entered the overheated entrance exam in the private education market and unexpectedly met Chief Choi.
Portraying Chief Choi is Jung Kyung Ho. He is a first-class instructor in the private education market. He possesses not only outstanding skills but also brilliant showmanship. Innately outspoken, he is also popular and rich. However, he does not like tension. When that happens, he becomes insensitive and harsh to others.
As he meets Haeng-seon, a sweet yet dizzying story unfolds. One Shot Scandal marks Jeon’s second tvN drama since The Good Wife in 2016.
On the other hand, Jung Kyung Ho previously worked on tvN’s Hospital Playlist, Prison Playbook, and Life on Mars. With that, he will show an image transformation as an instructor in this new drama.
Finally, the One Shot Scandal production team shares that they trust in having Jeon Do Yeon and Jung Kyung Ho for the new drama.
