Undercover High School Unveils Exciting Script Reading Session!
Touted as the most anticipated series of the first half of the year, Undercover High School has given fans a glimpse of its dynamic cast through photos from the script reading session, where the actors’ synergy shone brightly.
Slated to premiere in February, Undercover High School follows the gripping adventures of a National Intelligence Service (NIS) agent who goes undercover as a high school student to track down the lost gold bars of Emperor Gojong.
The cast members who will bring this exciting story to life gathered for the script reading. Joining the session were director Choi Jung-in and writer Lim Young-bin, along with lead actors Seo KangJoon, Jin Ki Joo, Kim Shin Rok, Jeon Bae-soo, Lee Seo-hwan, Jo Bok Rae, Yoon Ga-i, Kim Min Joo, Park Se-hyun and Shin Joon-hang.

From the very start, the script reading was brimming with energy and anticipation. The actors brought a vibrant atmosphere to the room, showcasing their colorful acting range and bringing their characters to life.
Seo Kang Joon, playing Jung Hae-sung, an ace NIS agent disguised as a high school student, captivated everyone with his swift transformation into a dual character. Balancing the sharp charisma of an elite agent with the youthful demeanor of a student, Seo raised expectations for the twists and turns Hae-sung’s undercover journey would bring.
Jin Ki Joo shone as Oh Soo-ah, a cheerful and passionate temporary Korean history teacher. Her lively portrayal of Soo-ah brought an extra spark to the reading, teasing the thrilling chemistry between her character and Hae-sung. Jin’s vibrant performance promises to add depth and humor to the teacher-student dynamic central to the drama.
Kim Shin Rok, taking on the role of Seo Myung-joo, the chairman of Byungmoon Foundation and Byungmoon High School, left a lasting impression with her commanding presence. Her nuanced control of voice and expression lent an air of sophistication and intrigue to her character, amplifying the drama’s tension.
The supporting cast—Jeon Bae-soo, Lee Seo-hwan, Jo Bok-rae, Yoon Ga-i, Kim Min-joo, Park Se-hyun, and Shin Joon-hang—also brought their unique flair to their roles.
