Ever since his breakout role in Start-Up, Kim Seon Ho has built up a solid fanbase and a huge following. His success further skyrocketed through his most recent drama Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha.
Admirably, he has captured the hearts of many with his seemingly endless charms. Apart from that, he is a ray of sunshine and warmth and comfort personified. A long list of the things we love about him could go on but for now, here are three of the multitude of reasons why he made us smile.
1. Man of many talents
Marking his name as more than just a charming actor, Kim Seon Ho has shown everyone his innate acting ability and character immersion.
It is known to Seonhohadas, his official fandom, that he started his career as a theater actor in 2009 before venturing into television dramas. With his vast experiences, it is no wonder how he could flawlessly pull off such different roles.
From tugging hearts through his emotional portrayals, entertaining audiences through his comedic performance, and making viewers’ hearts race through heart-fluttering scenes with his co-stars, he demonstrated his versatility in taking various roles.
Aside from acting where he excels, Kim Seon Ho is also a good singer. His dulcet and sweet voice is such a blessing to the ears.
In May 2021, he released a collaboration single with Epitone Project titled “Reason.” He did not only sing and appeared in the music video but he also penned the lyrics to express his gratitude and love for his fans.
2. He is charitable and an advocate of goodwill.
Proving that he is not just a talented actor with good looks but has a heart of gold as well, Kim Seon Ho has always made sure to give back to the community and the people who are in need.
In December 2021, his agency Salt Entertainment shared the news that the actor has donated 50 million won to Korea Childhood Leukemia Foundation. Even in January of that same year, he made a generous donation of 100 million won to the same foundation.
Earning the praises and hearts of the public, his philanthropic deeds did not stop there. In September 2022, the Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association announced that Kim Seon Ho donated all his earnings from the play Touching the Void to provide refreshments to more than 1,000 victims and volunteers affected by tropical cyclone Hinnamnor. We stan a humble and generous guy!
3. Has the best dimple smile
Need I say more? It is widely recognized that Kim Seon Ho has the best dimples in the entire K-dramaland. That is why it comes as no surprise that he earned the nickname “Dimple Prince.”
In a segment for The Swoon, the actor revealed that having dimples runs in the family and that all the men on his mother’s side have them.
Looking at his dimples would surely brighten anyone’s day. No doubt! Who would not smile back seeing Kim Seon Ho smile?
