It has one of the most beautiful tidal flats and views of the sunrise in the western sea. The place provides different views depending on the rise and ebb of the tide.

Nearby Dongmak Beach also offers a stunning view of a white beach surrounded by a forest of pine trees. During high tide, visitors can enjoy sunbathing, while during low tide, a large mud flat opens up for visitors to observe various sea life such as clams, crabs and more.

Hackberry Tree

Episodes 7 and 8 of Extraordinary Attorney Woo made all its fans root for Team Hanbada to save the highlighted hackberry tree.

Deoksugung Stone Wall Path

In one of those couple activities to do that Woo Young-woo (Park Eun Bin) listed down, she together with her new beau Jun-ho (Kang Tae Oh) visited Deoksugung Stone Wall Path

Sharing a trivia about how couples who walk together down the street break up, Jun-ho panics at what Young-woo just said. She then explains how the saying originated in how couples walk on the street to reach the Seoul Family Court which is in the North direction of the pathway before.

Visit Korea describes Deoksugung Stone Wall Path as Korea’s first successful attempt at creating a comprehensive urban space where both people and nature can coexist.

The street was built using eco-friendly materials and the utmost precautions were taken to ensure pedestrian safety. There are over 20 benches and 130 trees along the road offering great places to rest and enjoy the unique atmosphere. It stretches approximately 900 meters in length.

Walking along Deoksugung Stone Wall Path is a memorable experience. The romantic street is an ideal date spot for couples to go on a “walking date” while exploring Korean culture since the street covers nearby museums and important historical complexes.

Manghwon Hangang Park

Episode 12 of Extraordinary Attorney Woo gifted a subtly-poignant-sweet-just-the-same moment for whale couple Park Eun Bin and Kang Tae Oh.

Still going on dates, Jun-ho (Kang Tae Oh) learned about the kiss he last shared with Young-woo (Park Eun Bin) was witnessed by her father. The latter demands to meet him and Jun-ho perfectly understands Young-woo’s father’s position.

However, Young-woo responds that she can’t bring her home since they are not yet in a relationship to which Jun-ho was baffled. Cutely ranting how he went on dates from her “date list” despite some were not fun; she argues how they went to places he also likes.

In that scene, Jun-ho gives a perfect example of a strange and not fun date he endured out of love. All set for a jogging date, he sees his favorite girl coming with a basket on her back all ready to pick up trash along Hangang river.

The park where the “whale couple” had an environment-friendly date is Manghwon Hangang Park.

Visit Korea details Saeyeongyo Bridge as the longest pedestrian overpass created in the southern-most area of the country. The bridge, inspired by ‘Tewu’ (Jeju’s traditional log boat), was opened in September 2009 and connects Seogwipo Port and Birds Island.

Additionally, the overpass is the first single cable-stayed bridge ever created in Korea. The bridge has a major tower inspired by the wind and sail and flamboyant LED lights.
