Charming viewers with her role in the recently concluded Woori The Virgin, Hong Eun Hee left meaningful parting words for the viewers.
“It was a project I really enjoyed filming,” said Hong Eun Hee as the series wrapped up its last episode on June 21.
Giving a dazzling portrayal, the actress decorated her character with vibrancy by gifting laughter, emotion and romance.
In the drama, Hong Eun Hee played the role of Oh Eun-ran, Woori’s mother. She gave up her dreams at a young age when she became a young single mother.
After dedicating her youth to her daughter, she dreams of fulfilling her goal of becoming a singer. Interestingly, her daughter Woori then faced the predicament of accidentally becoming pregnant. Eun-ran then takes the lead in her daughter’s happiness.
In addition, her mother-daughter chemistry with Seo Gwi-nyeo (Yeon Woom-kyung) brings laughter and emotions every time. Her complex and subtle love line with Woori’s biological father, Choi Sung-il (Kim Su Ro), is also another watching point that captivated the viewers.
Through her agency, Namoo Actors, Hong Eun Hee, who showed stellar performance from family love to romance, expressed her final goodbye to her character.
