Cameras are set to roll for tvN series Twenty-Five Twenty-One!
Actors Kim Tae Ri, Nam Joo Hyuk, Bona, Choi Hyun Wook, and Lee Joo Myung have stamped their appearances and will begin filming in earnest.
Scheduled to air in the first half of 2022, 스물다섯 스물하나 Twenty-five Twenty-one traces refreshing love stories and friendships of inexperienced young people. It is a drama that reminisces fond memories of youth that shine forever in a special place of one’s heart.
Traversing the growing-up years to being confused between the line of friendship and love, the synergy of five youths will be highlighted in the story.
Accordingly, Twenty-five Twenty-one is a collaboration between writer Kwon Do-eun and director Jung Ji Hyun. They are recognized for a realistic and emotional screenplay as well as detailed and polished orchestration. Their combined works include Search WWW, The King Eternal Monarch and You Are My Spring.
Meet Twenty-five Twenty-one Main Cast
Challenging the role of fencer Na Hee-do, the talented Kim Tae Ri marks her small-screen return since Mr. Sunshine. In the drama, Na Hee-do is a strong-willed character who never gives up on her passion and ambition.
Nam Joo Hyuk (Start-Up) suits up as Baek Yi-jin, the eldest son of a family that suffered a great blow during the IMF crisis. Becoming a fallen young master, he strives to make a living by doing temporary jobs as a news reporter and tending a book rental shop.
Characterizing Go Yoo-rim, the youngest fencing gold medalist who rivals Na Hee-do is Bona. In the series, Go Rim is a charismatic fencer, but when she takes off her fencing suit, she is a lovely, outgoing, strong-willed person.
Fresh from playing badminton in Racket Boys, Choi Hyun Wook marks his new drama character as Moon Ji-woong. He is a self-proclaimed influencer and a fashionista with a unique personality and style. Engrossed in his own imaginative world, he really does not do anything in particular.
Finally, Lee Joo Myung (Kairos, Missing: The Other Side) plays the role of Joan of Arc Ji Seung-wan. She is the brightest student at school and the class leader. But she is full of rebellion in her heart. As a pirate broadcast DJ, she passionately shares concerns with listeners about issues in society and school, also her personal life.
Production company Hwa&Dam Pictures promises to bring touching memories relatable to viewers who have once been young.
