TVING’s new series is airing its first episode on January 14! Look forward as Internal Medicine Director Park is bound to stir up some medical comedy fun!
Among the diverse upcoming 2022 Korean dramas, Internal Medicine Director Park is a refresher that will make you chuckle and relax. Helmed by Director Seo Joon-Boom, the series will depict the frantic day-to-day lives of community doctors. Not only that but, TVING names Lee Seo Jin and Ra Mi Ran as the main protagonists portraying as husband and wife in this upcoming medical-comedy series.
In detail this is a reality-based comedy that shows the “hilarious and melancholy” life of a doctor. What is more, this series is adapted on a webtoon of the same title, “Naegwa Parkwonjang”. In fact, the web comic is based on the 18 year-experience of Doctor Jang Bong-Soo.

The main character of Internal Medicine Director Park is Park Won Jang. Director Park (Lee Seo Jin), aspires to be a competent doctor. For that reason, he is struggling between prioritizing the art of medicine and focusing on his weak business acumen.
However, the story will bring delightful amusement and empathy with his account’s inept efforts to revive his failing business. Meanwhile, transforming as an internal medicine doctor’s wife is Ra Mi Ran (Black Dog). She will be portraying the character Sa Mo Rim. Ironically, she is a clumsy wife who believes more in superstitions and television physicians than her own husband.

Joining the screen couple in the cast lists are Cha Cheong Hwa (Train To Busan, Home Town Cha-Cha-Cha), Shin Eun Jung (Misaeng). In addition, viewers will spot Park Sung Woong’s (Life On Mars, Snowdrop) cameo in the first episode.
