Following his expulsion from school for his ill-tempered attitude and misbehavior with both students and teachers, Do Bae Man (Ahn Bo Hyun) seeks employment with a law firm. It turns out to be a complete mess, as his interviewers ridiculed him for his high school dropout background.
With both of his parents having perished in a car accident while wearing their military uniforms when he was 10 years old, he refuses to enlist in the military. Fortunately, he is now under the care of his aunt, who is a police officer.
A Life-Changing Offer
Watching his every move from his previous interviews to his current ones, Yong Moon Gu (Kim Yeong Min) presents himself to Do Bae Man as a godfather, making a palpable offer that no one could refuse. The proposal is for Do Bae Man to spend five years in the military in exchange for a position at a law firm.
Initially declining the proposition, he eventually accepts it due to the expected personal gain if he works with Yong Moon Gu.
After five years, Captain Do Bae Man fulfills the agreement. He carries out smoothly the atrocious conspiracies ordered by Yong Moon Gu to discreetly trap military soldiers for crimes they did not commit.
While serving the remainder of his time prior to release, he was assigned to train and oversee a new military prosecutor, Cha Woo In (Jo Bo Ah).
Do Bae Man’s Insatiable Thirst For Money and Cha Woo In’s Longing For Revenge
Providing another task, Do Bae Man seeks to locate a missing person who appears to be Chairman No Tae Nam’s underling. Since money is what he is after, he investigates the missing person case.
Consequently, he discovers that the person he is looking for was involved in an incident with a woman and the chairman, for which the police received a report. Also, the victim was hospitalized due to the assault.
Along with his investigation, he finds significant clues that point to who kidnapped the Chairman’s underling. It was a strand of red hair, and he also had footage of a redheaded woman visiting Allen’s hideout.
On the other hand, the woman that Allen and the Chairman sexually assaulted was Cha Woo In’s closest friend. She was the one who abducted Allen and hid him in an untraceable location.
Traveling to the inauguration of the new division commander, several thugs hinder Do Bae Man and Cha Woo In’s way. Considering he knows Captain Cha’s lack of martial arts ability, he confronts them alone.
However, he is outnumbered. And, it is at this point when Cha Woo In intervenes to save them both from being late for a very important occasion.

Serving as a steady ground for its narrative, Military Prosecutor Doberman sets its path for an arresting story worth anticipating. With the mysterious backstories of the two military prosecutors, viewers will certainly want to uncover what actually happened and who is to blame for their parents’ tragic deaths.
Notably, despite their polar opposite characters, Ahn Bo Hyun and Jo Bo Ah make an unmistakably perfect pair. One serves the villains for money, while the other seeks vengeance for what the villains did to her father.
Furthermore, the notion of the characters resolving mystery cases and crimes and ultimately delivering justice to the military courtroom is something we eagerly await in the series’ next episodes.
