Forging his presence as a solo artist, Kang Daniel never made a shortcut and has been proving his worth through the years.
“I get to be on stage with my own voice, style, and performance. I will continue to work hard in becoming a singer who fills up this big stage as days go by.”
Those were his words when he debuted as a solo artist in July 2019 and he surely has been keeping his promise. Since then, he has catapulted to a multihyphenate – a singer-songwriter, brand endorser, actor, and businessman in a span of over three years. A momentous feat for the young artist that he is.

Following the success of his debut EP, Color On Me, the syndrome created by Kang Daniel continued to grow. Despite a contract dispute with his former agency, he survived the ordeal and impressively clapped back with a solo career achievement streaming from his hard work.
“If you think a little differently, it also means there are areas that can be filled with effort. It’s fun to fill the burden.”
In an interview with Arena Homme, good-mannered and cheerful Kang Daniel relayed how hardships are expected and that you can always win if you are diligent.
From his humble beginning, he has been taking care of his fandom Danity. Even then, he acknowledged the reality that as an artist, his supporters fuel his desire to perform.
“If my family and friends take care of me and help me survive physically, the fans are in charge of my spiritual support.”

Giving his two cents on envisioning the future, Kang Daniel acknowledged the real truth that there may be ups and downs in an interview with High Cut. That gives him the motivation to hope that his future self would have no regrets.
“I don’t know how the road I’m walking will end, but when I look back, I hope that it will be enough to convince me, “I’ve lived a really hard life”. You also have to work hard to be a good person. I want to do my best and run smoothly so that I won’t have any regrets.”

While promoting his album CYAN, Kang Daniel, a perfect embodiment of summer, had an interview with THE STAR.
It was his first summer concept photo shoot and his foray to try different concepts which his fans willingly support. Throughout his career, he gives back through various venues to extend whatever help he can. Thus, he is dubbed a “donation angel”.
His thoughts on practicing generosity are truly noteworthy.
“I don’t think about any special reason or meaning. I have a strong desire to repay by giving help to those in need. Probably because I received a lot of help from people around me in difficult moments.”

Returning to Arena Homme after a year, Kang Daniel promotes his then-album MAGENTA. Sharing sensible thoughts about pursuing dreams, he advised to prioritize what someone really wants in his life.
Revealing how he encountered times when people around him worry about the things he wants to focus on like dancing and singing, he remarked an encouraging note.
“I think you have to discover what you really like and what your heart is obsessed about. I think you can only feel rewarded if you are doing what you like.”
