While In Seoul, Visit The Pyeongchang-dong Mansion Featured In “Little Women”

Dubbed Seoul’s Beverly Hills, Pyeongchang-dong is a high-end neighborhood in Jongno-gu. Secluded from the city center, it has limited development as it is designated as a natural scenic area.

Pyeongchang-dong, where celebrities in the political and business world live, is considered a representative upscale village featuring a few luxurious houses.

If you have picked Little Women to your K-Drama watch list, you would have seen the expensive-looking abode where Oh sisters’ affluent great aunt lives.

The luxurious manor highlighted is located at 403-2 Pyeongchang-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul, South Korea. The geolocation is 37.617605, 126.976990 for Google maps direction.

Little Women

In the drama, Oh In-kyung, portrayed by Nam Ji Hyun, visits her great aunt with whom she lived when she was young. She lived with her and it was revealed in the drama that she has an uncanny ability in reading where to put stock investments.

To cover the money for their youngest sister’s birthday gift that their mother stole, she asked her great aunt if she can borrow money to which the former relents. Consequently, In-kyung will be on a series of breakfast sessions with her great aunt.

Interestingly, this Pyeongchang-dong private mansion is also the residence of writer Baek Eo-jin (Kim Gab Soo) as featured in Today’s Webtoon.

If you like appreciating arts in museums, hiking, or just chilling out at posh cafes, then you can add this neighborhood to your walking tour list. Be prepared though since a long stroll is expected.
