Perched to gift women with swoon-worthy romance, Park Hyung Sik conveys thoughts about his latest drama and role.
Fresh from the success of his comeback drama, Happiness, the actor returns to romance genre where his charm is strongly palpable.
His latest project, Soundtrack #1 is a music-romance drama about a man and a woman who have been best friends for 20 years. They get to know each other more while staying in the same house.
A familiar romance between two people who are friends but subconsciously want to be lovers is expected to warm up the viewers this spring.
Expounding on the concept of the series, Park Hyung Sik relayed how the series delves into the feelings of love that begin to grow between long-time friends.
He adds how the drama will let the audience feel the emotions of unrequited love as well as the blossoming romance with music. Park also expressed his genuine reason for accepting the project.
“I wanted to work with director Kim Hee Won and actress Han So-hee the most. I enjoyed reading the script. I think I also wanted to work with Disney+.”
Describing the charms and qualities of his character, Han Seon-woo, the actor emphasizes his consistency and sincerity. He notes how he paid attention to focus on those aspects of his character so he could reach deeper into the audience while acting.
When asked about his choice if he will be on a crossroad between love and friendship like Seon-woo in the drama, the actor picked “love”.
Thereafter, he sends invitations for viewers to watch the series.
“Soundtrack #1 was really fun to shoot. I hope you can look forward to the combination of director Kim Hee Won, Han So Hee, and Park Hyung-sik. I also look forward to March 23rd.”
