YNK Entertainment confirmed that talented actress Im Se Mi returns to the theater stage with 완벽한 타인 Perfect Strangers.
The well-loved Italian movie has been loved and remade to 18 countries around the world leading any other films shown previously.
Perfect Strangers narrates the story of a group of friends who gathered together, but end up unearthing secrets by sharing the calls and messages in their phones.
In Korea, the film adaptation Intimate Strangers was released in 2018 attracting more than 5 million viewers.
Im Se Mi takes the role of a veterinarian who runs an animal hospital. She still constantly communicates with her ex-boyfriend even being married. She is expected to attract audience attention by fully capturing the psychology of her gradually changing character as the unlocking game of the mobile phone proceeds.
After the drama Two Cops, My Secret Terrius and When The Weather Is Fine, Im Se Mi continued impressing drama viewers with her character immersion. Specifically, her role in True Beauty as a cool woman reversing her role in romance was met with wide praise.
Her upcoming project marks her return to the theater stage after seven years heightening the joy of her fans.
Meanwhile, the play Perfect Stranger starring Im Se Mi, Lee Si Eon, Seong Doo Seop, Park So Jin, and Jang Hee Jin, will open at Sejong M Theater on May 18, 2021.
