Tomorrow Lee Soo Hyuk kdramadiary

Flawlessly expressing a cold-blooded leader, Lee Soo Hyuk discloses his love and passion for embracing his character in Tomorrow.

Based on a webtoon written by Rama, Tomorrow follows the story of a dispirited job-seeker who accidentally meets grim reapers on a special mission. He then becomes a temporary worker in the underworld as a result of his accidental transformation into half-human and half-spirit.

In the new series, Lee Soo Hyuk stars as Park Joong-gil, the cold-blooded leader of the Indian management team. He is an elite grim reaper in the underworld. He also approaches the crisis management team and sows discord.

Previously, Lee Soo Hyuk’s stunning visuals were released. He exemplifies adequately that he carries a great deal of the weight of his role and hopes that people will continue to show their support once the drama premieres.

“We are aiming for 100% synchronization. I am grateful for the great response after the visual was released, but I am feeling the weight, and I hope that good reactions can continue even after the drama is released. I think I will be able to show the image effectively.”

Moreover, Lee Soo Hyuk notes that he desired to establish a trademark for Park Joong-gil due to his previous appearances in suits.

“As a result, elements such as the dark circle, the trademark of Joong-gil in the webtoon, could not be left out. The director, writer, stylist, and makeup artist are discussing even the smallest details to complete the character.”

Preparations For His Character Portrayal

When portraying the character Park Joong-gil, Lee Soo Hyuk acknowledges the content of the original work and strives to successfully focus on it.

“Since the webtoon itself is a very popular work, we are focusing on effectively realizing the content. Joong-gil is a character who is opposed to the crisis management team in the play, so I try to act in a restrained manner so that the tension is maintained.”

He also recognizes that the character’s attitude and setting altered as the role transitioned from webtoon to drama.

“As it became a drama, the character’s personality and the setting itself changed from the webtoon. I hope that the director, writer, and I will continue to make new points until the end.”

In addition to this, Lee Soo Hyuk conveys clearly that the most amazing shooting moment occurred in Zuma while simultaneously voicing wonder about the set’s appearance.

He added, “The process of guiding people by Jung-gil seems to be expressed charismatically. I am also looking forward to filming, so I hope viewers will enjoy watching it.

Lee Soo Hyuk Expresses Heartfelt Appreciation to the Creators

Feeling grateful to all the actors, Lee Soo Hyuk specifies his tranquility with the staff throughout filming and also thanks Kim Hee Sun for sharing her warmth on the set.

He also gives credit to the original author, Rama, who is sending fervent support. He explained, “I‘m taking care of all the posts that the author puts on social media, and I’m grateful. I will work hard for the rest of the filming so that I can live up to expectations.”

Aiming to deliver a comforting message, Lee Soo Hyuk invites viewers to witness the series.

Tomorrow is a drama that delivers a significant message. Many actors and staff are working hard to deliver that message. I hope that people who see the lessons in the work can feel and sympathize with them. I used to tell my fans that I would work like a cow, but I am doing my best to show a good side to this work as well. Please wait a little longer.”
