Jang Ki Yong affirms entering the military camp in August.
YG Entertainment, announced today that the actor would join the military on August 23 after filming his upcoming drama Now, We Are Breaking Up.
To maintain safety protocols from the Coronavirus, his management clarified that the location and time of the enlistment would be private.
“The location and time of enlistment will not be disclosed to prevent the spread of the Corona 19. We have made an inevitable decision to ensure the safety of our fans and reporters, so we ask for your understanding,” said YG Entertainment
Jang Ki Yong as a Remarkable Artist
Jang Ki Yong began his career in 2012 and worked as a South Korean model during Seoul Fashion Week. He bagged several awards in his modeling career like, “The Fashion Model” award at the Asian Model Awards in 2014.
In the same year, he debuted as an actor in SBS’s drama It’s Okay, That’s Love and showed his potential as an actor.
Later on, acting projects came flooding for the then budding actor, and seized his first main role in the drama, The Boy Next Door.
He also explored his acting spectrum by playing a variety of roles in Come and Hug Me, Kill It, Search: WWW,Born Again, and his recent hit popular drama My Roommate is a Gumiho.
Many fans would miss Jang Ki Yong and his charms that reach the hearts of his audiences.
As for now, fans can hope for his upcoming drama Now We Are Breaking Up which would premiere in November.
In the drama, he would play Yoon Jae-Guk, a wealthy and popular freelancer photographer who also has the looks and brains.
Together with him are popular actors Song Hye Kyo, Choi Hee Soo, and Kim Joo Heon. His synergy with the other actors is something to be waited for.
