Namoo Actors, the agency of Lee Joon Gi, confirms the actor has been diagnosed with coronavirus.
The agency made the announcement on April 18 citing his current condition.
“This morning, our actor Lee Joon Gi tested positive for Corona19. An antigen test was performed and the final result was positive.”
Currently, Lee has no symptoms other than a slight sore throat.
Subsequently, he has canceled all schedules and is taking precautionary measures according to the guidelines set by the health authorities regarding COVID-19 treatment.
Accordingly, the SBS Friday-Saturday drama Again My Life, in which he stars also canceled filming.
Fortunately, there will be no setbacks to the drama’s airing.
In his latest drama, Lee Joon Gi portrays a prosecutor who was given a chance to live again back when he is a law school student.
His ultimate goal is to defeat an evil politician who also ordered him to be killed.
