Multitalented Emperor Hwang Min Hyun!
Famed for his growing range of artistry, Hwang Min Hyun humbly began his career as a singer and songwriter. His stints as a member of NU’EST and WANNA ONE piqued the public’s interest with his charming demeanor and impressive vocals.
Proving his talent as a performer, he has showcased both his impressive singing and dancing ability as well as his charm on stage. His popularity as an idol opened doors to other areas of entertainment.
Impressively, he also made guest appearances on various variety shows, earning praise for his natural humor and wit. He released his first digital single, Universe, and has since released several other successful tracks and OSTs.
Returning to his music roots, Hwang Min Hyun made his solo debut in February of this year with the much-anticipated mini-album Truth or Lie, led by the title track “Hidden Side”. The mini-album includes five B-sides; Honest, Crossword, Perfect Type, Smile and Cube, each showcasing Min Hyun’s versatility and range as a solo artist. The main theme of the album is to not only discover Hwang Min Hyun’s many sides but to ultimately “possess” them all. The album displays a wider spectrum of his musical hues with a striking delivery of emotions, composed of a unique combination of pop, R&B, and hip-hop influences.
From his acting debut in Live On, his breakthrough performance in Alchemy of Souls revealed a new side of his talent with how he navigated the complex emotions of his character.
Currently, he is appearing as the male lead of My Lovely Liar opposite Kim So Hyun.
