“A Shop For Killers” Reloads for Season 2 on Disney+ with Star-Studded Cast and High-Stakes Action

The critically acclaimed Korean drama A Shop For Killers, recognized as one of The New York Times’ Best International Shows of 2024, has officially been renewed for a second season, exclusively on Disney+.  

Season 1 plunged viewers into the intense world of college student Jian, forced to take refuge in her childhood home as a wave of highly skilled assassins targeted her.

Desperate for survival, Jian relied on the crucial lessons taught by her enigmatic uncle Jinman before his sudden death, using them to stay alive. Amidst the chaos and confusion, Jian raced against time to unravel her uncle’s secret past and understand why so many were desperate to access her house and the formidable arsenal concealed within.

A Shop For Killers Season 2 will see the return of the charismatic Lee Dong Wook (Guardian: The Lonely and Great God, Tale of the Nine Tailed 1938) as the former mercenary Jinman and the talented Kim Hye Jun (Connect, Kingdom) as the resourceful college student Jian, now on the run from even more deadly assassins.

Joining the cast for the new season are Japanese star Masaki Okada (Drive My Car, We’re Millenials. Got a Problem?) and the compelling Hyunri (Pachinko, The Naked Director).

The creative team from the first season will also be back, with director Lee Kwon (Save Me 2, Door Lock) and writers Ji Hojin and Lee Kwon at the helm.  

A Shop For Killers Season 2 is a significant addition to Disney+’s growing lineup of highly anticipated Korean Originals for 2025 and beyond. Global audiences can also look forward to a diverse range of captivating series, including the dark crime mystery ‘Nine Puzzles’ starring Kim Dami and Son Sukku, the treasure-hunting adventure ‘Low Life’ led by Ryu Seungryong, and the international conspiracy thriller ‘Tempest’ featuring a star-studded cast including Jun Gianna, Gang Dongwon, John Cho, and Michael Gaston, among others.
