The series has now become one of the most anticipated dramas this year because of the collaboration of known directors and writers in the K-Drama world.
Director Park Joon Hwan of What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim will bring Hong Jung Eun and Hong Mi Ran’s imagination to life.

Alchemy Of Souls unravels the mystery behind the magically altered destinies and switching of souls of the people from a fictional country. Hiding the tragic history of his birth, Lee Jae Wook transforms into a hot-tempered master, Jang Wook.
He meets an assassin trapped in a weak body, Mu Deok-yi portrayed by Jung So Min, who became his servant. Their relationship shifted as Deok-yi teaches and trains her master which then flourishes into romance.
The production team is also excited to reveal the pairing’s chemistry to everyone, stating;
“Lee Jae Wook and Jung So Min worked together for the first time, but they were completely immersed in their emotions. Please look forward to the two people who will portray a romantic relationship between a bad disciple and a mentor with a weak body.”
In the recent stills, tvN teases viewers with the lead pairing’s meeting inside a room. Jung adds curiosity with the blindfold she is wearing that slowly fell from her face.
She stares deeply at Lee’s eyes while he held her wrist tightly. Furthermore, Jae Wook also gazes back at her with his cold and sharp eyes.
