CJ ENM launches the first teasers for the star-studded film, Alien Part 1!
Ryu Jun Yeol, Kim Tae Ri and Kim Woo Bin are featured in their characters while scenes from modern and traditional times intersperse.
Alien Part 1 will unravel the story when the gates of time open and swordsmen chase after a legendary sword rumored to be in the late Goryeo period. At the same time, the pursuit of alien prisoners hosted in human bodies in the present time also ensues.
In the video, it says “In 2022, the most curious and anticipated new world will come”, heralding the beginning of a sci-fi action fantasy that has never been seen before.
Eagerly awaited, the film marks the big screen return of Director Choi Dong Hoon after seven years. He is known for box office hit movies including The Big Swindle, Tazza: The High Rollers, The Taoist Wizard, The Thieves and Assassination.
Boasting popular actors, Alien Part 1 features Ryu Jun Yeol, Kim Woo Bin, Kim Tae Ri, So Ji Sub, Yeom Jung Ah, Jo Woo Jin, Kim Ui Seong, Honey Lee, Shin Jung Geun and Lee Si Hoon.
Along with the teaser video, a teaser poster was also unveiled giving a quick peek at the characters. Ryu Jun Yeol is described as the mastermind who wants to acquire the sword while Kim Tae Ri is a widow who shoots thunder.
Next, Kim Woo Bin manages the alien-prisoner chase. So Ji Sub portrays the detective chased by aliens.
Lastly, Yeom Jung Ah and Jo Woo Jin take the roles of deities. Presented on the poster, their distinct characters raise expectations about the movie.
Alien Part 1 is slated for a summer release!
