PRESS CONFERENCE: “Dali and the Cocky Prince” Presents Charismatic Characters & Appealing Story

Dali and the Cocky Prince

Romantic comedy series Dali and the Cocky Prince held its’ drama presentation with star actors Kim Min Jae, Park Gyu Young, Kwon Yul, Hwang Hee, and Yeon-woo.

Directed by Lee Jung Sub and written by Son Eun Hye Dali and the Cocky Prince is an art romance that the audience can enjoy because of its’ unique plot.

The main characters Kim Dal-Ri (Park Gyu Young) and Jin Moo-Hak (Kim Min Jae), sculpt an unexpected romance when their fate crossed.

Dal-Ri is a researcher at Kröller-Müller Museum and was promoted as the director of Chungsong Art Museum. Her personality explodes with finesse and class.

She also likes studying art, philosophy, and religion. Moreover, Dal-Ri can speak seven languages fluently.

Meanwhile, Jin Moo-Hak is the director of DonDon F&B, and is always in the last rank of his class. Many are curious about what kind of relationship would Da-Ri and Moo-Hak have, knowing that they have opposite personalities.

Introducing Dali and the Cocky Prince’s Interesting Characters

To give a brief introduction, director Lee gave some glimpse on why the audience would enjoy the drama.

“As Dal-ri is working on art, he paid great attention to the art exhibits. There are about three big exhibitions featured in the drama, and I think it should be real work, so I think the actual artists have completed the work over two to three months. I think viewers can have fun like touring a museum.” said Lee talking about Dal-Ri’s character

Meanwhile, Kim Min Jae said in an interview that he’s comfortable working with Gyu Young. 

“This is not the first time. It’s been a while since we met, but it’s comfortable. Thanks to that, the concentration of the work was high. I took the picture with much consideration for the conversation. It was great.”

In return, Gyu Young said that Min Jae is very considerate and flexible at the same time.

“Min-jae has tremendous charisma but he also learned and helped while filming happily.”

Meanwhile, Kwon Yul plays the role of Jang Tae-Jin, a chaebol in Dali and the Cocky Prince. Describing his character as a second-generation that gets more spotlight, he vouched evident synergy with fellow cast members.

“I tried to express my feelings and actions a little more freely.”

Next, Hwang Hee who portrays Joo Won-Tak also introduced his character. 

He is a blunt person to all the other characters, but he is very attractive. I think the viewers will like it very much.”

Lastly, Yeon-Woo that plays Ahn Chak-Hee said that her character is full of charms.

“It is a character full of cuteness that can’t be hated,” assures Yeon

It is with great pride that Dali and the Cocky Prince is a new drama that would be loved by many fans, especially those who love art.

Dali and the Cocky Prince would air on September 22 at KBS2.
