Together, the pair will work to uncover a demonic doorway and break the curse that has destroyed both of their families.

“Revenant” Displays Dual Intriguing Looks of Kim Tae Ri

Accordingly, the series parades the latest photos of the main leads portrayed by Kim Tae Ri and Oh Jung Se.

When San-yeong was young, she received an object that she should not have received as a keepsake from her father whom she thought had passed away. Thereafter, she was gradually encroached upon by evil spirits.

Folklore professor Yeom Hae-sang has been able to see ghosts and gods since he was a child. He dug into folklore to find the demon that killed his mother and became a professor. After decades of searching, he reunites with the demon through San-yeong.

The link between the two is San-yeong’s father, Professor Koo Kang-moo (Jin Seon Kyu) who, like Hae-sang-, was a scholar of folklore. Professor Koo who was immersed in the study of ghosts in shamanism, was criticized for going beyond the realm of learning and was not recognized in the academic world, but he did not give up and continued his research.

In the meantime, he learns of the existence of a demon and throws everything in order to reveal its reality. Like the professor, Oh Jung Se, who has risked his life to pursue evil spirits, also finds important clues in his research data.

The First Encounter

The released still contains the moment of the first meeting between the focal characters of Revenant. At first glance, Hae-sang realizes that San-yeong has a demon, but she doesn’t believe in ghost stories and doesn’t have the time to believe them. So, she cannot easily believe the professor’s words because she has to live through the tough reality.

Watching points abound Revenant like the mystery of why Professor Koo left his daughter an item that was infested with demons. In addition, how Kim Tae Ri and Oh Jung Se, who are in opposite positions, chase the demon together, and the reality of the demon they are chasing is also set to be unfurled.

Kim Tae Ri, who described Oh Jung-se as “a senior actor I like,” expressed her thoughts about her latest work.

“I really enjoyed all the scenes with Hae-sang. The point of worrying and thinking about each other was very similar. He shared the worries of the other character, and as time passed, we became closer, giving us a sense of stability just by being together on the set as well as acting.

Oh Jung Se also praised his junior.

She is a healthy, clear and passionate actress. I was able to act comfortably and reliably together. She made good use of the mixed feeling of being a mountain spirit or a demon. It was not clearly defined and there was an ambiguous boundary, so I was able to easily portray the confused feelings of my character.”

Regarding this, Kim Tae-ri also said, “I think the acting of the demon was completed with the reaction of the other actor. When he faced a demon, Hae-sang’s expression and reaction made me look more like a demon.”

The production crew also gives a preview of the story.

San-yeong, who is obsessed with evil spirits; Hae-sang who chases evil spirits; Professor Koo and the devil, and their relationships are one of the main points to watch that will double the fun of the drama Revenant. The still cuts released today shows the relationship between San-young, who does not believe in the existence of evil spirits, and Hae-sang, who needs San-young’s help to chase away evil spirits. If you pay attention to how their relationship will change, what kind of relationship there was between Professor Koo and the devil, you will be able to enjoy the drama. Please look forward to it.
