The two lead male stars of the upcoming KBS Drama At A Distance, Spring Is Green are ready to stun everyone with their amazing chemistry that you surely don’t want to miss!
Park Ji Hoon and Bae In Hyuk are both gearing up to sweep fans’ hearts with their individual charms and incredible friendship in the forthcoming series.
Based on a webtoon bearing the same name, the drama will explore the story and life of college students who face different struggles the world has to offer. It aims to show the unexplored aspects of young adults, whose lives may seem perfect but are indeed harsh and painful up close.
At A Distance, Spring Is Green will thoroughly pay attention to the experiences of Yeo Jun (played by Park Ji Hoon) as well as Nam Soo Hyun (played by Bae In Hyuk), who met through a group project. It will also give focus on the story of Kim So Bin (played by Kang Min Ah), who became close friends with the two charming guys.
A CLOSER LOOK AT THE DRAMA’S CHARACTERS
Yeo Jun is a handsome and cheerful person whose life appears attractive on the surface but struggles deep inside due to a painful experience. Specifically, he is a first-year college student born from a rich family, whose image can be alluded to bright sun. With his alluring and bubbly personality, Yeo Jun became popular among every student inside the campus.
Meanwhile, Nam Soo Hyun is a third-year student, who is the complete exact opposite of Yeo Jun. His life mainly centers around studying and his personality is cold, which led to many calling him a social outcast. Nam Soo Hyun does not care about making friends at all given how his only focus and priority is to provide for himself and his family. His family is already poor and all he wants is to make ends meet.
However, everything changed when he and Yeo Jun met for the first time. The drama will show how the latter was able to get Nam Soo Hyun to open up to him and how they were able to form a brother-like bond that combines, friendship and obsession among others.
JI HOON AND IN HYUK’S THOUGHTS ABOUT EACH OTHER
Talking about how their real-life relationship changed from the first day of filming up to the present day, Jihoon said, “Because we’ve become such good friends and are so tight-knit, I think we now have great chemistry and teamwork. I feel comfortable during filming, and I’m having a lot of fun.”
Meanwhile, Bae In Hyuk commended his co-star for displaying his bright energy on the set all the time. “While filming together with Park Ji Hoon, I think I’m receiving a lot of positive energy from him. He’s an actor who’s really good at bringing Yeo Joon’s unique sunny charm to life,” he said.
At A Distance, Spring Is Green will air every Monday and Tuesday, starting on June 14 at 9:30 PM KST.
