Ji Chang Wook & Kim Yoo Jung Are All Set For “Backstreet Rookie”

SBS unleashed three official posters for its upcoming Friday-Saturday series, Backstreet Rookie!

That prized broadcast spot is usually the seat occupied by dramas with anticipated following. Whether the newest romantic comedy succeeds, we’ll have to wait and see.

Having Ji Chang Wook and Kim Yoo Jung on-board makes any k-drama patron look forward to Backstreet Rookie. Adding to that, it will be directed by PD Lee Myung Woo who directed The Fiery Priest, the smart comedy would be incorporated. How romance will be blended for two actors with impeccable skills to draw romantic moments in convenience store setting is something we should expect.

Backstreet Rookie‘s Plot Sketch

Designed to draw empathy and laughter to a familiar character working in a convenience store, Ji Chang Wook challenges the role of Choi Dae Hyun. He is a manager of a convenience store who used to work in a big company. His life will change when he meets part-timer Jung Saet Byul, portrayed by Kim Yoo Jung.
