The production team of Bulgasal: Immortal Souls promises an intense and charismatic character transformation of Lee Joon.
Dropping this December 18, Bulgasal: Immortal Souls continues to unveil compelling posters and character stills. Recently, actor Lee Joon shows his character’s expensive and chic wardrobe.
Bulgasal: Immortal Souls narrates the story of the lonely fate of a 600-year-old Bulgasal, Dan Hwal (Lee Jin Wook). His soul intertwines with another Bulgasal, Min Sang Woon (Kwon Na Ra), who became a human. She remembers all her reincarnations over 600 years and now tries to hide her past and identity.
Lee Joon will play the role of another Bulgasal, Ok Eul Tae, who also hides his identity. He is a financial player as well as a vocal advocate of politicians that help the underprivileged.
Through his character stills, it proved that Ok Eul Tae is very influential and a well-off individual. On the first still, he wears a printed and stylish coat that makes him look like a modern and lush “prince.”
The actor then transforms into a powerful and a “villain” look with his dark-green printed coat. He completed his outfit with different accessories and hairstyles.
Furthermore, the director of the upcoming series, Director Jang Young Woo, commended the actor’s performance. He stated, “Lee Joon changes 180 degrees when he goes back to the camera.”
The director added, “It was Ok Eul Tae itself, not Lee Joon. I hope you will look forward to the intense impact Lee Joon will show,” inviting the audience to watch the transformation of the actor.
Bulgasal: Immortal Souls will be Lee Joon’s comeback on the small screen after his last drama series project in 2017. The actor also portrayed main roles in My Father Is Strange, Woman With a Suitcase, and Vampire Detective.
