Breaking his small screen hiatus, Cha Seung Won is confirmed to join Kim Soo Hyun in a new project!
The two top-tier actors are decked for the Korean remake of BBC series, Criminal Justice. Aiming to incorporate the K-Drama sentiment, the series begins filming in the first half of 2021 to prepare for its broadcast date in the second half of the year.
Digging into the criminal justice system, the series tells the story of two men and their perspectives surrounding the murder of a woman.
Titled 그날 밤 One Ordinary Day (ET), the series will be produced by Studio M, founded by PD Lee Myung-woo and Chorokbaem Media, and Gold Medalist. In charge of the production is PD Lee Myung-woo whose notable works include The Fiery Priest, Whisper and Punch.
For his new role, Kim Soo Hyun takes the role of an earnest and ordinary college student. He becomes a suspect in a murder case by mistake overnight.
Meanwhile, Cha Seung Won plays the role of a cautious lawyer who barely passed the bar exam. He is the only person who reached out to Soo-hyun’s character to help in his case.
