A guaranteed elevated dopamine is up for viewers on the quirky and humorous Netflix series, Chicken Nugget, premiering March 15.

A bizarre comic-mystery drama, the series takes you on a rollercoaster ride with Sun-man as he navigates an absurd mission: To rescue his daughter, Min-ah, who has turned into a chicken nugget after a mishap with a strange machine. Along for the wild ride is Baek-joong who has a secret crush on Min-ah.

The show is already turning heads, thanks to its unique premise and the creative genius behind it. Known for his blockbuster Extreme Job — the second highest-grossing film in Korea — and the TV series Be Melodramatic, director Lee Byeong-heon’s knack for snappy dialogues, rhythmic storytelling, and well-timed humor promises to make Chicken Nugget a memorable watch. The Ryu Seung-ryong and Ahn Jae-hong pairing is another highlight to look forward to.

Ryu Seung Ryong steps into the shoes of Choi Sun-man, a desperate father and the owner of “More Than Machine,” who will stop at nothing to bring his daughter back to her human form.

Ahn Jae Hong is set to charm audiences as Ko Baek-joong, an intern at Sun-man’s company, is secretly smitten by Min-ah. Special appearances by Kim Yoo Jung as Choi Min-ah, who turns into a chicken nugget, and Jung Ho-yeon as the top Korean culinary columnist, Hongcha, add to the star-studded cast.
