Filming soon begins for the movie Interview!
Interview tells the story of an unprecedented serial killer who killed 11 people. He offers a special interview to a veteran reporter desperate for a scoop.
In the film, Cho Yeo Jeong portrays Sun-ju, a social affairs reporter who is thirsty for exclusive stories. Predicting another character transformation, Cho is famed for her works in Parasite, Obsessed and The Target.
Expressing excitement for her new film, Cho pledges immersion to her character.
“Interview is a story that has a striking scenario about the communication to transpire between a reporter and a serial killer. I will do my best to convey the tension and cinematic fun that I felt while reading the script through the movie.”
Next, Jung Sung Il, who rose to stardom through the dramas The Glory and Our Blues, chose the movie as his next film and challenges the role of Young-hoon. He is a character that murdered 11 people. But he has an excellent brain and meticulous personality which helped in completely covering up his crimes.
Jung vows to show Young-hoon’s undisturbed appearance in front of the special reporter Sun-ju. He also shares the reason why he chose the project.

Meanwhile, leading the production is director Cho Young-joon, who debuted in the movie The Preparation (2017).
Director Cho relays his intention of creating a new genre of film worth watching in the theaters. He expressed his ambition and commits to prepare well so that the tension of the interviewer and the interviewee captures the pressure of the situation.”
Interview targets 2024 airing and is set to begin filming soon.
