Earnestly beginning its production soon, KBS2 drama Crazy Love affirmed its lead pairing!
Returning to the small screen since Her Private Life, Kim Jae Wook collaborates with Krystal Jung (Police University) in a new series slated for 2022 airing.
Crazy Love chronicles the story of a genius Mathematics tutoring center CEO (played by Kim Jae Wook) . He receives a death threat and tries to seek out the murderer by pretending to suffer memory loss.
He even enters into a sham marriage with his introverted secretary Lee Shin Ah (played by Krystal Jung), who is diagnosed with a terminal illness. Between them, a scary yet sweet romance blossoms.
The show is directed by Kim Jung Hyun who was behind dramas Jugglers, My Fellow Citizens and Awaken. Backing up the project is leading studio Story Hunter Productions. Global streaming platform iQIYI will exclusively stream the series overseas.
Quick Character Sketches of the Lead Pair
Suiting up as No Go-jin, Korea’s “Best Math Instructor” is Kim Jae Wook. Albeit a high school graduate, he became a genius teacher owing to his genius intellect. He has risen to the top of the industry and the CEO of GOTOP Education.
Handsome and almost perfect, he fails to attract people owing to his absurdly excessive narcissism. However, a sudden murder intent eyeing him happens. From there, his life changes.
Lee Shin-ah, played by Krystal Jung is a highly responsible and dedicated employee. However, she is quiet, introverted and refuses to be in the limelight. Her existence in the company is barely there. Things change though as she enters an arrangement with the CEO.
Foretelling an unpredictable and thrilling romance, the two actors aim for a synergy that heightens their upcoming romantic comedy.
Previously, the cast and crew met for the table-read and subsequently will begin shooting soon.
Crazy Love will be broadcast on KBS2 TV in 2022 and will release globally via iQIYI.
