Anticipated returns and thrilling new shows decorate Netflix’s K-Content roster this month!
As the holiday season rolls around, unwrap the gift of highly-anticipated returning series and other new binge-worthy titles. Leading the lineup is the second season of the internationally-acclaimed series, Sweet Home, which pioneered the K-creature genre, and Gyeongseong Creature, set to up the ante in this genre.
Enjoy an extra treat as actor Song Kang seamlessly transitions from a heroic monster-human in Sweet Home to a 200-year-old demon that loses his powers in My Demon, showcasing his versatile acting chops.

Sweet Home Season 2
Set in an apocalyptic world where people become monsters of their innermost desires, Sweet Home Season 2 follows returning lead Cha Hyun-su (Song Kang) and other survivors as they fight for their lives. This time, the battleground is not within the Green Home apartment complex but out in the open.
As they come face to face with otherworldly creatures and mysterious phenomena, chaos unfolds and citizens discover that there are larger monsters to be fought within themselves.
Directed by Lee Eung-bok, who also helmed the first season, the eight-episode sequel returns today on December 1, promising action-packed scenes and a compelling commentary on human nature.
Gyeongseong Creature
Set in the spring of 1945 at the mysterious Ongseong Hospital in Gyeongseong (one of Seoul’s former names), this must-watch thriller series follows an entrepreneur and a sleuth as they fight for survival against a creature born from human greed.
Premiering on December 22, the two-part series features a star-studded cast led by Park Seo-jun (The Marvels, Itaewon Class) and Han So-hee (My Name, Nevertheless,), along with Claudia Kim (Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, Avengers: Age of Ultron) and Wi Ha-jun (Squid Game).
Part 1 consists of seven episodes while Part 2, releasing on January 5, comprises three. This thrilling series is set to leave audiences on the edge of their seats until the very end.
Welcome To Samdalri
Welcome to Samdalri traverses the long connection shared by Jo Yong-pil (Ji Chang Wook) and Jo Sam-dal (Shin Hye Sun).
The two have a long history of friendship. They were born in Jeju, five minutes apart on the same day.
From then on, they attended the same school from elementary to college. They also share smiles and affection with each other’s families.
However, their inseparable connection came to a pause. Yong-pil decides to stay in their hometown but Sam-dal pursues a new life in Seoul.
Still, the emotions and memories shared over the past 30 years cannot be easily ignored. The two friends reunite when Sam-dal returns to their hometown.
