So Ji Sub, Shin Sung Rok, and Im Soo Hyang’s powerful synergy prove that Doctor Lawyer is another awaited legal drama this year.
MBC updates the audience with the cast’s unparalleled chemistry as they finish their first table-read for Doctor Lawyer. Two actors will return to the small screen as So Ji Sub transforms into Han Yi Han, while Shin Sung Rok as Jayden Lee.
Two fiery actresses, Im Soo Hyang (Geum Seok Young) and Lee Joo Bin (Im Yu Na), will also unite for the upcoming thriller drama. Furthermore, Director Lee Yong Seok (Haechi) and Writer Jang Hong Chol (Class Of Lies) are seen in the recent session.
Doctor Lawyer tells the story of an elite surgeon who specializes in general surgery and cardiothoracic surgery, Han Yi Han. His life then transformed as a surgery he conducted and is confident to be successful, unexpectedly fails.
As Yi-han’s medical license lifts, he returns four years later as a lawyer, specializing in medical litigation. While defending victims from medical malpractice and negligence, he is also on a mission to unveil the secrets behind the death of his last patient.
So Ji Sub returns after four years since his last project, My Secret Terrius. The production team of Doctor Lawyer complements his strong and perfect portrayal of Yi-han specifically with his eyes, emotions, and speech.
Shin Sung Rok plays Jayden Lee, the manager of Honors Hand, and calls as an “irreplaceable actor” by the team. While Im Soo Hyang (Geum Seok Young) portrays a prosecutor that will highlight her storm-like emotional expressions and sharp charisma.
The actors absorb their characters and play passionately, which is reminiscent of the actual scene. The production team has also put a lot of quality effort, raising expectations for the broadcast have increased.
