Excellent Shaman Ga Doo Shim tells the story of unique high schoolers who are involved in a series of mysterious incidents. 18-year-old Ga Doo Shim (Kim Sae Ron) wishes to live as a typical high schooler but is born with the undesired fate of becoming a shaman. She is a brave and strong character who will fight evil spirits as she works on solving mysterious cases.
Na Woo Soo (Nam Da Reum) is a nearly perfect high schooler with a wealthy background, handsome looks, and outstanding grades. When Ga Doo Shim suddenly appears in his life, he gains the ability to see evil spirits, and the two get entangled in mysterious cases together.
Previously, along with the announcement of its launch date on July 30, the teaser poster showing Ga Doo-shim and Na Woo-soo standing side by side in front of Songyeong High School in the middle of the night was unveiled.
The school exudes an eerie atmosphere as if possessed by evil spirits which steals their attention. It arouses curiosity as to what kind of mysterious incidents Doo-shim and Woo-soo will face.
Thereafter, the character stills of Kim Sae Ron and Nam Da Reum have been publicized as students in the prestigious Songyeong High School.
Portraying the titular role, Kim evokes grit through her face showing a determined look oozing with bravery.
Meanwhile, Nam dons the model student look with zero shortcomings who has a devoted loyalty to his friends.
The poster boy for an 18-year old perfect high schooler, he meets Ga Doo Shim, a girl destined to become a shaman. From there, he faces the biggest challenge of his life.

On July 15, kakao TV dropped character posters of the main leads.
Kim Sae Ron perfectly digests the ‘girl shaman’ attitude that seems to subdue ghosts with just her eyes. Ga Doo-shim, who was born a shaman, sits in a shrine with one leg up and one hand crossed, looking straight ahead with an expressionless face and sharp eyes, exuding an intense aura. Wearing a neat school uniform, she radiates a chic atmosphere as if indifferent to everything.
Meanwhile, Nam Da Reum’s perfect transformation also draws attention. Woo-soo sits in the classroom in a neat school uniform like the perfect boy any girl can bring home to her mom. However, he is surrounded by ghosts with eerie visuals, not ordinary students.
In an even more creepy atmosphere, he seems to be trying to speak with a firm expression on his face, revealing his strange eyes.
Excellent Shaman Ga Doo Shim is set to run for 12 episodes of about 20 minutes each.
