MBN’s new drama is a Korean-style romantic comedy about a seemingly ordinary man bossed around by a woman unaware that he is the Crown Prince.
Suho takes on the role of the main character, Yi Geon, and attempts an acting transformation.
Drawing attention, The Crown Prince Has Disappeared is a creative collaboration between director Kim Jin-man, who worked on classic Korean romantic comedies The Greatest Love and Kill Me, Heal Me, and writers Kim Ji-soo and Park Cheol, who wrote Bossam – Steal The Fate.
Suho, who has expanded his acting field by showing off his ability to digest a variety of characters, is attempting his first historical drama through The Crown Prince Has Disappeared.
Notably, the singer-actor has continuously communicated closely with audiences and viewers through his active work in musicals and dramas, including last year’s musical Mozart and dramas Behind Your Touch and Sword of Aramun.
As proof of this, Suho was named the winner of the ‘Emotive’ Award in the actor category and the Best Acting Performance award at the 2023 Asia Artist Awards held in the Philippines on December 14.
The Crown Prince Disappeared is scheduled to air in the first half of 2024.
