At the rate of how Extraordinary Attorney Woo impresses domestic and global viewers, the new outstanding viewership rating recorded in the 5th episode peeks at double-digit rating and more record-breaking that it will soon achieve!
Extraordinary Attorney Woo follows the story of a rookie and autistic lawyer, Woo Young-woo (Park Eun Bin), with a genius brain who also has an exceptional love for whales.
With a slightly different point of view and approach to solving cases, Young-woo aims to confront the prejudices and absurdities of the world.
According to Nielsen Korea, Extraordinary Attorney Woo received the highest rating of 9.1% nationwide and 10.3% for the metropolitan area.
Moreover, the series started airing last month, with a 0.9% audience rating for the first episode. Unexpectedly, the 5th episode broke the highest ratings, maintaining the No. 1 spot.
ENA shares their gratefulness for another stepping stone on the channel.
“This is the first time it has happened since the channel began, so all the employees are enjoying the joy. Extraordinary Attorney Woo has been constantly updating the channel’s ratings from the first broadcast to the 5th episode.”
Additionally, the productions are working hard to complete the 8-month journey with high-quality work.
The series topped Netflix’s Top 10 most-watched programs for non-English television series in more than 190 countries. With that, it has recorded a total viewing time of 23.95 million hours.
Furthermore, it is the first Korean non-Netflix original to make the ‘Global Top 10 Programs’.
Extraordinary Attorney Woo airs every Wednesday and Thursday at 9 PM on the ENA Channel and is also released through Seezn and Netflix.
