To live a double life, Jang Hyuk promises pleasant laughter in the new tvN series, Family: The Unbreakable Bond.
In Family: The Unbreakable Bond, a spy for the Korean intelligence services walks a fine line between being a model agent and the perfect husband and misses the explosive secret his beloved wife has been keeping from him.
Jang Jung-do, who oversaw a number of box office hits such as the dramas What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim, Our Blues, and The Crowned Clown, is in charge of directing with Lee Jung Mook. Penning the script is Jung Yoo-sun.
In the drama, Jang Hyuk takes on the role of Kwon Do-hun, a black agent of the National Intelligence Service who disguises his identity as an employee of a trading company. He is a veteran sniper with a quick, accurate, and neat one-shot, one-kill skill. He estranges himself from his family due to his busy schedule, but he is a husband full of love for his wife.
Correspondingly, the first filming stills of Jang Hyuk are revealed. He is a formidable black agent outside the house, but he turns 180 degrees to become a doting father willing to look like a fool for his daughter.
Do-hoon steals attention with bare eyebrows a la Mona Lisa and boldly struts his upper body wearing only boxers just like typical dads.
Wearing leggings and a tank top, he also concentrates while doing a couple yoga session with his wife.
His charisma as a black agent is non-existent at home and adds charm to the expected fun the series will unfold.
Family: The Unbreakable Bond is scheduled to premiere on April 17 on tvN. International fans can watch it on Disney+!
