Along with a teaser poster, MBC’s Golden Spoon confirmed its premiere date!
Based on the popular Naver webtoon of the same name, Golden Spoon tells the life adventure story of a child born in a poor family, who obtained a golden spoon. Thereafter his fate changed with a friend who was born into a wealthy family.
In the released teaser poster, a striking image of a golden crown is hung on the throne, and a bright light is shining on the crown. The text inscription reveals “change your parents and become rich”.
Inciting curiosity, Yook Sung Jae’s post-military service comeback drama drives attention.
In the drama, he plays Lee Seung-cheon, an ordinary student who dreams of turning his life around with a golden spoon. He is told that his momentary choice will change his fate, and he will pay the price for it and lead a tumultuous life.
Here, he leads a colorful story by living a life in contrast with Hwang Tae-yong (Lee Jong Won), originally born with a golden spoon. In addition, Seung-cheon will tell a richer story by intertwining with Na Joo-hee (Jung Chaeyeon), the daughter of a chaebol with an upright personality, and the pretty Oh Yeo Jin (Yeon-woo).

Notably, Samhwa Networks, which produced Now We Are Breaking Up, Dr. Romantic, Be Melodramatic, The Fiery Priest, Sweet Home, and Yumi’s Cells, will also join the collaboration. It is a work co-produced by Studio N, which will herald the birth of another well-made drama in 2022.
