Park Jin Young confirmed his appearance in tvN’s Yumi’s Cells to be aired in September.
Directed by Lee Sang Yeob and written by Song Jae Jung along with Kim Yoon Joo revolves around Yumi (Kim Go Eun) whose love call was fallen into a coma.
The drama would also narrate the growth and transformation of Yumi along with the waking of her love cell.
Other actors such as Ahn Bo Hyun, Lee Yo Bi, Park Ji Hoon, Jung Soon Won, and the guest appearance of Choi Min Ho would join Jin Young.
In the drama, Ahn played the role of an engineer that has an honest personality.
Lee characterizes Ruby, a caring and affectionate woman that has a great relationship skill.
Meanwhile, Park portrays Sae-Yi that dreams of being a game director. She is known to be Yumi’s love rival because of her perfect looks and skills.
Park Jin Young Becomes a Charming Work Colleague
In Yumi’s Cells, Jin Young plays as Yoo-Babi that has a friendly and perfect aura. Babi is an assistant manager in a marketing department where Yumi also works.
In their workplace, Babi is known to be a popular man that catches the heart of many women just by smiling.
Moreover, he is also beautiful inside and out. He’s smart yet has exquisite manners. Many viewers are waiting on how his fate would be intertwined with Yumi.
Jin-Young’s acting skills were proven because of his stable projects. Recently he got lead roles in hit dramas like He is Psychometric, When my Love Blooms, and The Devil Judge.
“Thanks to everyone on the set who was comfortable with me, I was able to take a touching first shot. I had a lot of talks with the director about the Yoo-Babi character. Being engrossed in researching the characters, we were able to penetrate the space naturally.” said Jin-Young in an interview

The comedy-romance drama Yumi’s Cells is expected to air on TVing and tvN in September.
