Cast as the female lead Ju Yeo-jin, Jin Ki Joo preps to show her charms and talent in Uncle Samsik.
She joins Song Kang Ho, Byun Yo Han, Lee Kyu Hyung and Seo Hyun Woo as the main leads.
Uncle Samsik threads on the passionate desire and bromance between two men. They survive the turbulent period in the early 1960s.
Song Kang Ho takes the role of Uncle Samsik who eats three meals a day despite the country being at war. His life intertwines with the character named Kim San (Byun Yo Han), an elite who will draw a story of love, faith, and doubt with Song’s character.
In the drama, Jin Ki Joo will play the role of Joo Yeo-jin, a wise elite woman who is the lover of Kim San.
Previously, the actress worked on the drama, From Now On Showtime. She is also set to appear in KBS drama Run Into You in May.
Garnering attention as premiere actor’s Song Kang Ho’s drama debut, the series will be directed by Shin Yeon-sik who wrote Dongju: A Portrait of a Poet and directed Cassiopeia. He also worked with Song Kang Ho in the film, One Win.
