Lauded and reliable actors are gathered for the new drama series Uncle Samsik.
Portraying Kim San is Byun Yo Han (Mr. Sunshine, Misaeng). A top elite with a prestigious and privileged education, he returns to Korea with the dream of making the nation industrialized. Equipped with Economics knowledge from the United States, he hits a frustrating reality. In the midst of that, he meets Samsik who promises to make his dream come true.
Next, Lee Kyu Hyung (Voice 4, Prison Playbook) takes the role of Kang Seong-min, a candidate to become the next leader. He used to be affiliated with Samsik, but since gaining an advantageous position, he wants to disregard him.
Lastly, Seo Hyun Woo (Adamas, Flower of Evil) suits up as Jung Han-min. He is a schoolmate of Kim San, who also dreams big for the country. But his focus is on the military and he also confronts the same debilitating reality.
Featuring a talented pool of actors and a creative team; Uncle Samsik looks forward to a well-made series project to hit the small screens.
