Kim Bum Seals New Drama “Ghost Doctor” As His Next Work

King Kong by Starship confirmed that the actor joined the upcoming medical fantasy drama Ghost Doctor.

After his recent drama Law School that many fans loved, Kim Bum gears up for a new series that viewers can anticipate.

Directed by Boo Sung Chul and written by Kim Seon Soo, Ghost Doctor is about two doctors who have different personalities and unfortunately, their spirits and bodies unite as one.

It depicts the heartwarming stories of a ghost doctor who cannot leave the hospital and his patients’ side even when he already crossed the afterlife.


Kim Bum Portray’s A Privileged Character

Personifying Ko Seung-tak, a rich resident doctor that is supported by his family is the latest role of Kim Bum.

Seung-tak has everything he wants and needs. His life tangles in a cryptic incident with Cha Young-min (Jung Ji Hoon), a thoracic surgeon. 

From hi breakout role as So Yi-Jung in the hit drama series Boys Over Flowers, he has since ventured into remarkable stories and characters.

Viewers are amazed by his capability to do various roles in different genres such as fantasy, action, comedy, and romance.

Recently, he decked two-hit Korean dramas: Tale of the Nine-Tailed and Law School. His two recent projects gained the publics’ attention because of the plot and perfect combination of the casts. 

Kim Bum played Lee-Rang, a demi-gumiho in Tale of the Nine-Tailed. His bickering and bromance with Lee Dong Wook was the talk of the town at the time of drama’s airing.

Likewise, he was again commended for his role as Han Joon-hwi who pursues straight justice in Law School.

In Ghost Doctor, Kim Bum ventures into the medical field to prove his immersive acting skills.

Meanwhile, the series is yet to announce its premiere date.
