Acquainting the viewers with the lead pairing, tvN released stills and introductions of the characters portrayed by Yeo and Moon.

First, Yeo Jin Goo characterizes Gye-hoon, a chef of a Michelin-starred restaurant. He is a perfect man with impeccable culinary skills that match his beautiful visuals. Seemingly like a painting especially when he does his wonders in the kitchen, his restaurant is always filled with customers.

Following a strict mantra of separating emotions when at work, he made a fool out of himself when he strangely go into unexpected bouts of tears. Thanks to that, he was given a “Chef who Cries” title.

Next, Moon Ga Young portrays Noh Da-hyun, a trainee who ends up getting a job at Gye-hoon’s restaurant. She can fully read Gye-hoon’s emotions.

Da-hyun possesses a great personality and smiles while she braves the harsh world. Despite being poor, she remains optimistic about the idea that even when she has no good fortune, she has to smile. That is because “smiling brings happiness.”

Initially promising herself not to have a man in her life, she meets Gye-hoon. To make matters worse, she has to navigate their tangled fate, where an irreversible event has left her with a secret she can’t reveal to anyone.

tvN’s Link: Eat, Live, Kill will premiere on June 6 at 10:30 PM.
