Park Min Young gives off a foreboding look in the newly released exclusive poster and video teaser of Marry My Husband.
Marry My Husband is about a woman who was murdered after witnessing her husband’s affair with her best friend. She returns to the past 10 years ago and gets a chance to redo her life. It aims for a story of retribution where the female lead claims back her destiny.
Based on the popular web novel of the same name, the series will be adapted to drama by writer Shin Yu-dam of the drama Awaken, and directed by Park Won-guk of Poong, The Joseon Psychiatrist, Special Labor Inspector Mr. Jo and Emperor: The Owner of the Mask fame.
Park Min Young (Love In Contract, Forecasting Love and Weather) plays the role of Kang Ji-won, who was murdered by her husband and best friend and returned 10 years ago to start a new life.

In the released poster, there is a stark contrast between the blood-red flowers that fill the table and the pure white cake placed between candles. In particular, Kang Ji-won, wearing a black dress and veil, overwhelms the atmosphere with a cool pose as she holds out a cake with the text ‘Will you MARRY MY HUSBAND’ written on it.
In the teaser video, a bright red background is seen behind the scenes. The wedding cake with figurines of the groom and bride on it and Kang Ji-won’s mysterious smile as she looks at it stimulates curiosity.
Soon, her anger toward her husband Park Min-hwan (Lee Yi Kyung), and her best friend Jung Su-min (Song Ha Yoon) can be seen in her rough hands as she switches the bride’s figure and crushes the cake with another bride’s figure.
The figure falling on top of it and the red syrup flowing out like a blood color on the cake, add to the eerieness.
In particular, attention is being paid to the intention behind Kang Ji-won’s unsophisticated murder and meaningful smile as she says: “You dispose of the trash you coveted.”
What kind of revenge they will have to pay for their sins is also anticipated in the series.
