Im Soo Jung and Lee Do Hyun display their character connection in the posters released by Melancholia.
tvN’s 15th-anniversary special project Melancholia, which is scheduled to be aired on November 3, is set in a private high school that is a breeding ground for preferential corruption.
It depicts a story more beautiful than mathematics, transcending the myths and prejudices about math teachers and math geniuses.
In the unveiled character posters, the lead pair is shown sitting side by side at a desk on a pensive note.
Notably, it hints at subtle emotions hidden from each other. The special meaningful gazes are imbued with different emotions, stimulating interest.
Portraying Ji Yoon-soo, who loves Mathematics, Im Soo Jung’s poster shows the text: “You and the world seen through the eyes of Mathematics.” She sees through the beauty of numbers and is genuinely sincere to help heal her students.
Meanwhile, Baek Seung-yu, played by Lee Do Hyun contrasts the earnest drive of Yoon-soo. The phrase, “You can’t like math and teachers anymore,” suggests stories and emotions that are inconceivable.
Drawing interest, the story of a Math genius who vanished meeting a devoted Math teacher alludes to a poignant story worth watching.
tvN’s 15th-anniversary special drama Melancholia will be broadcast for the first time at 10:30 pm on Wednesday, November 3rd.
