Lee Min Ki, Kim Ji Won, Lee El and Son Suk Ku Hope To Unbridle Their Uneventful Lives In “My Liberation Notes”

Scheduled for April broadcast, My Liberation Notes has been rolling out teasers to acquaint viewers with its story.

To be aired on JTBC, My Liberation Notes narrates the story of three siblings and a mysterious stranger who want to escape from the reality of arduous living.

Earlier, a teaser video was unveiled presenting Kim Ji Won, Lee Min Ki, Lee El and Son Kuk Ku donning their newest character.

Showing a notebook with a written text of “My Liberation Notes” – the respective viewpoints of the three siblings were revealed.

First, the youngest Yeom Mi-jeong, played by Kim Ji Won, remarks how “all relationships are hard work”.

Next, the middle child Yeom Chang-hee portrayed by Lee Min Ki, said, “I have never experienced anything like joy, pleasure, or ecstasy since I was born.”

Lee El who takes the role of Yeom Geum-jeong, sits on the bus and sheds tears.

Lastly, Seon Suk Ku suits up as Mr. Gu sips a glass with a tired face.

A Story of Healing

Their painful lives seemingly trapped with their undertakings arouses curiosity. A spark of hope though is seen from Mi-jeong’s determined face.

Added to her confession of wanting to be liberated, she hopes for everyone to be happy, the kind of bright and sunny happiness without any worry.

It preludes to the scene where she sits with Mr. Gu beaming together while watching the sunlight. Their smiles seem to herald the beginning of their plans to be emancipated.

Previously, teaser posters were released. Capturing the daily lives of the three siblings, their faces describe “boring normal life” hinting as reflected in their weary faces.

Another photo shows a scenic view of the town where the lives of the siblings and the stranger will be presented. The production team hopes to give consoling messages in My Liberation Diary.

“It is a work that contains emotional moments that everyone has experienced at least once. A realistic yet laughter-filled story that will convey deep sympathy and comfort. We hope it brings a little ‘liberation’ to our daily lives.”

My Liberation Notes is scheduled to premiere in April on JTBC.
