“My Lovely Boxer” Serves Rounds of Interesting Teasers

Covering all its promotional bases so far, My Lovely Boxer paraded striking posters and shared character sketches.

Along with that are character introductions featuring the lead cast.

My Lovely Boxer is based on the novel Pure Boxer Lee Kwon-sook by Choo Jong-nam, the 2nd winner of the Kyobo Book Store Story Contest.

In the drama, Lee Sang Yeob plays the role of Kim Tae-yeong, a sports agent who attracts talented players. He is resolute and emotionless but gets the job done hesitating to do anything for his players’ talent and money. His life comes to a turning point when he approaches a genius boxer who went into hiding.

Next, Kim So Hye transforms into a genius boxer Lee Kwon-sook who disappeared without a trace. Lee Kwon-sook emerged as a boxing star at the age of 17. She has a strong fighting spirit forged by her father’s rigorous training.

Ahead of an important match, she vanished. Then, she encounters a new phase in her life when she meets Kim Tae-yeong, her caring agent.

In one of the released posters, Lee Sang Yeob and Kim So Hye vaunt their respective characters.

As if opening an old photo, the two are sitting side by side under the ring in a nostalgic mood, staring straight ahead.

Kim So Hye, dressed in a red racing suit, radiates a fighter aura with her hands clenched into fists wrapped around her hand straps. Playing boxing genius Kwon-sook, who knocked out a boxing legend with a single blow at a young age, disappears ahead of her championship title match.

Then, Park Ji Hwan, who transformed into professional match manipulator Kim Oh-bok, overwhelms the viewers with his undisturbed appearance and cold eyes.

Kim Hyung Mook, who plays Lee Cheol-yong, Kwon-sook’s father and her boxing teacher, is roaring with a longing for victory.

Next, Kim Jin Woo, who transformed into Han Jae-min, the deputy director of a kindergarten where Kwon-sook works as an assistant teacher, catches the eye with a friendly smile as well as a warm visual.

Ha Seung Ri plays the role of agent Jeong Su-yeon, exuding the force of a real winner.
