Han Ji Eun, Jung So Min, Oh Hyun Kyung, and Jang Sung Kyu are set to make a special appearance on My Roommate Is A Gumiho!
The ongoing quirky drama series, My Roommate Is A Gumiho, dropped stills of the new cameos. These new characters will give more diversity and flavor to the story.
Leading the production is Director Nam Sung Woo (100 Days My Prince, Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo, & Kkodae Intern), while Baek Sun Woo and Choi Bo Rim collaborate for the screenplay. These writers both worked together on What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim, A Poem A Day, Ugly Miss Young Ae, and other notable dramas.
My Roommate Is A Gumiho tells the story of an over 900-year-old gumiho, Shin Woo Yeo (Jang Ki Yong), and his yearning to become a human. Accidentally, a 20-year-old student, Lee Dam (Lee Hye Ri), swallows the bead from Shin Woo Yeo’s mouth. Until they figure out a solution, they decided to live together.
Presenting the “scene-stealers”
First on the list is Han Ji Eun. The actress made a cameo on the first episode. She turns into a publishing company team leader and is said to have disseminated tension on the story.
Han Ji Eun looks professional on these stills with her long hair and black suit. She debuted on her acting career with Be With Me and starred on Lovestruck On the City and Kkodae Intern.
Following is Jung So Min, who will gracefully appear in the drama with a hanbok. Her character adds secrets where she intertwined with Shin Woo Yeo in the past.
The actress currently plays the lead role on Monthly Magazine Home. Jung So Min also made cameos on What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim, Miss Korea, and Abyss.
Coming through is Oh Hyun Kyung. She portrays as Lee Dam’s charismatic mother. As a fashion magazine editor, Oh Hyun Kyung looks fabulous with her chic aura on these still.
This 1989 Miss Korea actress won Best Actress on her role in Ambitious Times in the 1990 KBS Drama Awards. In addition, she led popular dramas such as Legendary Witch, Wang’s Family, and A Bird That Doesn’t Sing.
Finally, completing the strong lineup is Jang Sung Kyu. The actor transforms into a warmhearted guy as Lee Dam’s blind date. His appearance adds more warmth with his quirkiness.
Jang Sung Kyu made many notable appearances in popular dramas. He made cameos on The Penthouse 2: War In Life, 18 Again, Strong Woman Do Bong Soon, and the list goes on.
The production team also expressed, “First, I would like to thank Oh Hyun Kyung, Jung So Min, Han Ji Eun, and Jang Sung Kyu for deciding on a special appearance even on a busy schedule.”
They added, “They are in the right place to fill the romance between Woo Yeo and Lee Dam will play with more richness. The four actors’ performances as scene stealers will be another viewing point for this week’s broadcast. Please look forward to it.”
