Netflix is set to bring another webtoon adaptation featuring the ensemble cast of Park Bo Young, Yeon Woo Jin, Jang Dong Yoon, and Lee Jung Eun.
Daily Dose of Sunshine (WT) is a Netflix original series based on the webcomic 정신병동에도 아침은 와요 (Morning Also Comes To The Psychiatric Ward) in 2020 by Lee Ra Ha.
Directed by Lee Jae Kyu, the best storyteller who created All of Us Are Dead‘ which brought the spectacular zombie series worldwide. He collaborates with renowned writers Lee Nam Gyu (The Light In Your Eyes, The Awl, Detective K film series) and Gag Concert writers Oh Bo Hyun, and Kim Da Hee.
Daily Dose of Sunshine is based on the authentic experiences of a psychiatric ward nurse named Jung Da-eun.
Meet the Charismatic Cast
Portraying the role of Jung Da-eun is Park Bo Young, known for her lovely charm and solid acting skills. She takes on unforgettable roles in her previous work, Strong Girl Bong Soon and Oh My Ghost.
Jung Da-eun is a nurse who enters a mental health department. She helps patients genuinely despite being complicated and clumsy in many aspects of her life.
On the other hand, Dong Go-yoon will be suited up by Yeon Woo Jin, who showed extravagant performances in Thirty Nine, Queen For Seven Days and Serve the People.
Dong Go-yoon, works as a doctor specializing in proctology with a quirky personality. Watching Nurse Jung Dae-eun, he finds himself smiling and even healed by her pure appearance.
Moreover, Jang Dong Yoon will take on the role of Song Yoo-chan. He has continuously broadened his acting spectrum in his roles in The Tale of Nokdu, Search, Just Dance and more.
Song Yoo-chan is a close friend of Jung Da-eun. Although he appears very bright, nobody knows that he suffers from distress.
Finally, portraying the role of Song Hyo-shin is Lee Jung Eun. She has shown her unrivaled presence in Our Blues, Juvenile Justice and When the Camellia Blooms.
Song Hyo-shin always supports the other nurses in psychiatric wards with her veteran-like appearance.
