Upon the release of character stills featuring Namgoong Min, Kim Ji Eun, Choi Dae Hoon and Lee Deok Hwa; One Dollar Lawyer gathered the lead cast in a striking poster.
One Dollar Lawyer‘s lead cast is all set to meet the viewers on SBS on September 23. The series won the Grand Prize at the 2015 SBS Screenplay Contest. The series is written by Choi Soo-jin and Choi Chang-hwan who both worked on the hit series Defendant.
“One Dollar Lawyer” Unleashes Interesting Poster Featuring Namgoong Min
In the drama, Namgoong Min takes on the role of Chun Ji-hoon, the most cost-effective courtroom hero that can be paid one thousand won. Contriving a story of justice for the underprivileged who are not protected by the law; the actor previously shared that the drama is a project he was excited about.
Reminiscent of a popular painting, the group poster pays homage to Eugène Delacroix’s painting, Liberty Leading The People, commemorating the French July Revolution of 1830.
In the poster, the four people stand ostensibly on top of a mountain of 50,000 won bills and gold bars. At the forefront is Namgoong Min, vaunting a formidable presence while holding a 1000-won flag.
Like Joan of Arc who led the French Revolution, his character intends to create a world where people live like human beings with his unique way of being a champion of justice. At the same time, Kim Ji Eun shows off her dignified figure in a hot pink suit.
Meanwhile, Choi Dae Hoon looks like a contradiction wearing the solemn prosecutor robe with a stupid expression. Park Jin Woo, who is holding an abacus with a worrying stance draws laughter.
Subsequently, in the newly released video; a display of quirky bickering erupts between Nam and Kim. It further foretells their delightful interactions to anticipate in the series.
One Dollar Lawyer premieres on September 23 on SBS.
